A Modern Classic
The Loews Philadelphia Hotel is a historic gem and an Art Deco masterpiece, originally built in 1932 as the Philadelphia Saving Fund Society (PSFS) Building. As the first skyscraper in the United States constructed in the International Style, it seamlessly blends Art Deco elegance with modernist innovation. This architectural landmark, with its iconic PSFS sign atop, has become a defining feature of Philadelphia’s skyline.

Both grooms have always admired this Art Deco Modernist masterpiece, but for Karl, the PSFS Building holds a special place in his heart. In his younger years, he loved bringing visiting friends to explore its historic halls and sneaking up to the 33rd floor for unbeatable views of Center City—a spot that became a personal symbol of connection and inspiration.
It’s even more special to invite our chosen family to celebrate with us in this space, weaving our own memories into its storied history.
